- 9 th February 2009 – Wojciech Pratkowski appointed to the position of Board President
- 7th November 2008 – Wojciech Pratkowski assigned from the Board of Supervisors to temporarily fulfill the function of Board President of Fota S.A., previous President recalled
- 28th May 2008 - Fota S.A. overtakes 80% shares of spare parts distributor operating at North – West teritory of Slovakia, AUTOMOTOŠPORT Centrum, s.r.o. is located in Prešov Slovakia.
- 30th June 2007 – Fota S.A. acquires 80% shares in Autoprima, a distributor of car parts operating in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
- 25th June 2007 – Fota S.A. acquires 79% shares in Expom Kwidzyn, a company specializing in regeneration and production of starters and batteries.
- 22nd June 2007 – Fota S.A. acquires almost 35% shares in ART-GUM Beskidy, one of the largest tyre wholesalers in Poland.
- 2005 – creating the first branches of the Fota International programme – Fota Hungary Fota Czech Republic and Fota Ukraine.
- 2004 – establishment of the Lider Serwis Truck workshop network (at present Leader Service Truck) to provide services for trucks.
- 2003 – establishment of a modern Fota IT Centre connected with all points of sale in Poland and the countries covered within the Fota International Project,launch of Kager, an independent spare parts make. The production of KAGER spare parts has been contracted to leading European OEM producers of car spare parts.
- 2001 – launch of the Logistics Centre in Łodź (20 000 m2), formation of a network of independent Lider Serwis workshop network (at present Leader Service).
- 2000 – introduction of Internet sale in the on-line system (as the first firm on the Polish market). Customers may do their shopping independently and are provided with complete information on the availability of items, substitutes, prices, discounts and order status.
- 1992 – formation of the national sale network.
- 1990 – Fota Company incorporated to deal in import and distribution of spare parts.
- 1973 – Bogdan Fota establishes a car workshop specialising in repairs of Ford cars.
